Not a very pleasant flight to London

We were picked up at our apartment at 12 noon for the airport. We took a quick little spin around town to say our goodbyes to Kyiv before hand.
It was a little sad leaving our crew. They are like family to us, since we've been here 5 whole weeks. But we were amazingly relieved to leave.
We took about 15 minutes to clear immigration at Ukraine Airport. Gruff looking dudes making sure our paperwork was perfect but we made it on the plane.
We met a couple that were going to London for the weekend. The guy is a marine and is stationed at the US Embassy in Kyiv with his family for the last 9 months. They were filling us in about the Ukrainian mafia. Apparently we ran right into these guys when I was walking down that street I mentioned with all the expensive cars. I noticed that they all had black licence plates, different from the normal red and yellow. These guys actually get their own licence plates. It lets the locals and local authorities know to leave them alone. The marine said that these guys are not to be messed with and can basically do whatever they want. It was obvious to me that they didn't seem like normal folk. Big, mean looking, nice suits and had very expensive cars. Thinking back we were walking around looking at their toys and thinking nothing of it.
The flight to London didn't go too well. The kids took it upon themselves to really really test us. Nikki was kicking the guys chair in front. Alex was laughing, egging her on. It went on like that right till we got to the hotel room. A nightmare actually. To add to it Judy got a very bad cold and was in no shape to handle it. They are finally in bed. I just finished watching soccer with fish and chips in my belly and a pint of Murphy's. I am now ready to sleep and take care of our final round tomorrow. Looks like an overdose of childrens benadryl is in order for tomorrow flight for sure.
