Court Day

Hello Alex how are things in Disney World land?
That's good advice Rory. We notice that Alex has quite the sweet tooth and we will have to turn it from candy to fruit very quickly. Nikki on the other hand loves fruit juice and bananas and apples so she may be ok.
John, the turning out the lights may work at your house but it would be a disaster at ours. We had a little incident yesterday with Nikki.
They were messing around on the bed and Alex jumped up and bumped into Nikki and Nikki bumped her head into the corner of the headboard which had a sharp edge. She actually cut her head by her eyebrow and it started to bleed. She cried for about 3 seconds and then that was it but you could tell she was in pain. Poor little thing, we felt horrible about it. I cleaned her up best I could but Roman said we should take her back to the orphanage to have it looked at. Great, we have them for 2 days and already we bring her back damaged. Turns out she did have about a half inch cut. The doctor cleaned it up some more and put ice on it to reduce the swelling. He patched her up and let us take her back to the apartment. I thought they would be calling the cops or something. But I guess they get banged up all the time. She seems to be ok now. So bad idea John!! But thanks just the same.
Today at 2 is our court appearance. It will be there where we will know if both of them will be ours to take home or not. Then if all goes well it will be 10 more days of waiting till we can start to leave for home.
